On April 8th at 1pm, join MCAN as we support Mass Energy at their first wind turbine tour of the spring! They will be celebrating the wind turbine at Holy Name Central Catholic High School in Worcester, learning why the school made a commitment to clean energy, and learning how it and the surrounding community have benefited from the turbine. Join us for:

• A tour of the wind turbine and information about its history and impact
• An electric vehicle showcase
• Information on how our members support facilities like this one and how you can join them!
• Pizza!

Tickets are free and all are welcome!

Additionally, there is an Optional pre-event hike. The event starts at 1pm, but our friends at the Mass Audubon Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary will lead an optional 2-mile hike from the sanctuary to the wind turbine before the event. The hiking group will meet around noon at Broad Meadow Brook. After the event, a shuttle will take you back to Broad Meadow Brook, or you may choose to hike back. If you're interested in joining the hike, please indicate so when getting your tickets.
