There will be a public hearing on National Grid's rate design proposal and we urge you to come and vocalize opposition to the utilities' proposed changed rate charges. 

National Grid is proposing a new rate design that includes "tiered pricing" for residential and small business taxpayers. Not only will this put taxpayers at risk of being locked into high fees, but it will cause ratepayers to pay even more money for unwanted dirty energy. 

This proposition could introduce access fees for stand-alone distributed generation (like solar). This will make the fight for fair clean energy for all more difficult.
