4/29 People's Climate March

Throughout the first 100 days in office, the People's Climate Movement is organizing a country-wide arc of action, culminating on April 29th in Washington DC in a powerful mobilization to unite all of our movements. To change everything, we need everyone.

There is no denying it: Donald Trump’s election is a threat to the future of our planet, the safety of our communities, and the health of our families. If the policies he proposed on the campaign trail are implemented, they will destroy our climate, decimate our jobs and livelihoods, and undermine the civil rights and liberties won in many hard fought battles.

We understand this event is in DC, but we hope that those who can attend, will. There are efforts to put together a sister march in Boston- we will let you know as more information becomes available.

Resist. Build. Rise. March.

Please keep me updated on a Sister March in Boston as I know plenty of my friends, both male and female, are interested in going. Thank you

Thank you to everyone who has shown interest and are looking to support climate action. I believe the talks about a Boston march revolve around doing a teach-in in the morning and a rally on the commons in the afternoon. We will of course send an email when we have final details.

    Keep fighting!

I really want to participate, but I can’t get to DC. Any update on plans for a sister march in Boston? I don’t see any update here. I’m sure I could find many people in my area on the South Shore who would join a march in Boston.
