MCAN is about the power of people to create a clean enery future, accessible and affordable for everyone, with zero emissions by 2040.  We are a grassroots organization, with over 60 volunteer chapters across the state of Massachusetts, pushing for equitable, affordable climate solutions in their towns and cities.  

Our #GivingTuesday goal is $10,000.   

Your support is crucial as MCAN continues to transition our climate advocacy work to the virutal realm and as we push for state-level climate legislation, with an environmental justice amendment, from the Conference Committee. 

$5000 supports developing MCAN's first ever Virtual Advocacy Tool Kit

$2500 supports our ability to continue to offer webinars on Green Zoning, Net Zero Buildings, and Affordable Housing is a Climate Solution at no cost to participants 

$1500 upgrades MCAN's Zoom account to accomodate 500 participants for our virtual events

$1000 contributes to technology upgrades for MCAN staff to continue to work remotely with reliable and efficient laptops

$500 gifts MCAN a subscription to a foundation library for writing grants to support our state-level work addressing climate, health and housing 

$250 assists MCAN's work with our partner organizations pushing for state-level climate solutions that get the Commonwealth to zero emissions by 2040 

$50 supports MCAN's monthly newsletter where we share legislative action updates, webinars and highlight the work of our advocates 

$25 supports MCAN's work with our local advocates on clean energy, renewable energy, and energy efficiency in buildings, public utilties and the energy grid
