11/5 BBRS Public Hearing

Join us by RSVPing below!

On Tuesday, November 5th, from 10 am-1 pm, the Board of Building Regulation and Standards (BBRS) is holding a public comment opportunity to hear from the public about the changes we want for our building codes in MA.

This June, the BBRS made a commitment to update our current stretch code to a Net Zero stretch code, and we want to use this hearing as an opportunity to keep momentum building towards reaching this exciting goal. A Net Zero building code is not only an important step towards achieving our climate goals, but will also make buildings safer, more comfortable, and more equitable for communities across the Commonwealth.

What: Board of Building Regulation and Standards (BBRS) Hearing

When: Tuesday, November 5th, 10 am-1pm

Where: 1000 Washington St, Boston MA 02118, Room 1D

Whether you're a climate activist or a town official passionate about changing the way we build buildings for the better, the BBRS needs to hear why a Net Zero code is crucial for your community. RSVP to join MCAN on November 5th to tell the BBRS why we want a Net Zero stretch code NOW.

If you are a municipal official interested in showing your support for a Net Zero stretch code, add your name to this letter to the BBRS: https://forms.gle/Lx3CrSiaeyPFrFbd8
