PLEASE RSVP BELOW.
The date has been changed from the previously announced January 20th.
We invite you to our second green Municipal Light Pant retreat on January 27th.
In September, we gathered with over 50 community members from 21 Municipal Light Plant towns to learn about what Municipal Light Plants do, don’t do, and what they could do in terms of leading on clean energy. We learned a lot from our friends at Conservation Law Foundation, light board commissioners, and grassroots activists. Now we are hosting a second meeting of green Muni advocates to continue the collaboration and keep moving towards cleaner, greener energy across the state. We will have updates about statewide policies, grant opportunities, and recent successes in Muni towns.
Ideally, we want at least two people from each MLP town. So please recommend this event to anyone you think would be a good fit, or send recommended attendees to us and we will reach out to them directly.
The meeting location: Brigham Hill Community Barn, Grafton, MA
The meeting will run from: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Our success and productivity will be dependent upon your attendance and involvement. We hope you can join us!
