Join QCAN for a lecture on offshore wind!

After the passage of the Commonwealth’s omnibus energy law, enacted last summer, Massachusetts is looking at the beginning o three big offshore wind projects that promise to supply a total of 1,600 megawatts of electricity, or about 15 percent of the total Massachusetts load. To talk about the projects and her research on offshore wind in the Commonwealth, Amber Hewett, regional campaign coordinator for the National Wildlife Fund, who will lecture on the topic at the Thomas Crane Public Library.

These projects will start coming together in the very near future and it's crucial to hear about the impact they'll have.
