Greta Thunberg sailed into NY harbor in time for the September 20th Climate Strike. She seems to be a pleasant person but grown men like Niall Ferguson are terrified of her-or at least very afraid of her ideas.
Ideas were on full display in the CNN Climate Town Hall. The best take home was that straws, light bulbs and hamburgers are the sort of distraction that Exxon wants you to focus on, instead of their climate lies. In a future where we’ve solved climate change, we will have straws that don’t kill turtles.

Because we recognize the necessity of personal accountability for our actions, because we accept responsibility for a building a durable future and because we believe it is our patriotic duty as citizens to speak out, we must insist the United States transform it’s energy sector, over the next decade, under a just and equitable plan, that uses regulations, investments and a price on carbon to safeguard our collective future.
